Colour vs B&W for a first kiosk

Colour is not a personality trait. It is toner, service cost, and a different failure mode. A first campus kiosk that only needs assignments may be happier as B&W with a high paper tray.

A print shop that already sells colour flyers should not hide colour behind a B&W-only QR. The customer-facing choice should match the devices you can actually run.

Some deployments put both on one QR: the flow asks colour or B&W and routes to the right engine. That is an integration and a floor-plan problem, not a checkbox on a brochure.
