Place the QR where the job happens
The code should stand next to the printer or kiosk it belongs to. A QR on a website homepage is not a location. If you reprint the code, replace the old one so two devices do not share an identity.
Customers do not install an app for a standard print
The flow is mobile web. If a campus captive portal blocks unknown sites, whitelist the print host before go-live day.
Settings the customer can choose
Typical controls: colour vs B&W, copies, duplex, page range, paper size, orientation. Hide options the attached printer cannot do. Showing duplex on a simplex device creates reprints.
Payment succeeded, printer did not
Treat the job as held. The operator reprints or refunds according to your policy. Do not mark the job complete. Contact support with the job id from the dashboard.
Who fills paper
A kiosk is unattended for customers, not for paper. Assign a person and a refill interval based on actual page volume, not the brochure maximum.
Software does not replace the engine
If the printer cannot take jobs from the controller on your network, EasyPprint Software cannot invent that path. Send the model sheet when you enquire.
How we confirm a printer
We look at connection, language, colour, duplex, and whether paper and error states are reported. Until that review, treat compatibility as unknown.
Paper empty
Customers should see that the location cannot print. Operators should see attention. After refill, release held jobs rather than asking customers to pay again.
